Annotations

Probably will be a Roman villa, which would be associated with a necropolis located not far from this location.

It was located in a floodplain with good visibility to the south, with great aptitude for agriculture.

Traces were found in an area between the Church of Rio de Couros and the Nabão river (in Soalheira and Castelejo), among which polychrome mosaics and Roman tiles almost on the surface stand out.

These mosaics appeared about four decades ago, and have been badly damaged.

At the same time, a well was opened in which, half a meter deep, structures appeared.
