Bridge for road leading to villa of Vibius Varius.
This high two-tier bridge that spans the ditch of Ponte Terra, built in the second century AD, connected the old road of the Colli di Santo Stefano with the Via di San Vittorino and allowed to pass from one side of the valley to the other. This bridge and the road were built to allow you to reach the various Roman villas, particularly the Villa of Vibius Varus nearby, located on the slopes and hills of Tivoli. It can be reached from the San Vittorino side, from via di Ponte Terra through the ditch of Ponte Terra.
