Recent destruction at the site has uncovered walls of rectangular dwellings, without roof tiles, possibly from the Iron Age.
It is therefore likely that it was a romanized castro, with a Roman structure on top.
The materials found also indicate a chronology of occupation during the Late Bronze, Iron and Roman.
