Annotations

This basalt king statue of the Neo-Hittite/Aramaen kingdom was unearthed in Sam`al hilani within the walls of a citadel. Hittite king stands on the lions. 

The statue housed in the Museum of Oriental Antiquities, İstanbul dates back to 850-800 BC,
