The Stele of Meli-Shipak/Meli-Sihu was unearted at Susa between 1900 and 1904 by Jacques de Morganm chief of the French excavation team. The preserved stela is a fragment of the lower part of a large rectangular stone edifice engraved with reliefs and the remains of Akkadian and Elamite inscriptions.
