A ruin site dates back to Hellenistic period, later resettled by Romans and early Byzantines. It is an acropol type establishment. There is ruins of a church on top and there are several other home buildings around. The polygonal wall construction remains from the Hellenistic period still can be observed. There several door lentils, cisterns and wine workshops. It was later inhabited by nomadic Turkish tribes. There is one house that was constructed with the stones from the ruins. But it is not used anymore. There are appropriate farming fields on the south that are still farmed by local people today.
