Annotations

The church dedicated to St. James (Mor Yakup,  Mor Kuryakus)at  Bülbül village (ca 3,5 km south to Yesilli/Mardin) dates to the fourth century. However sthere isn`t any  inscription, and no information indicating the date of its construction could be found in the sources, it is said that it was built as a monastery church in the fourth century. It was made of  cut stone with a flat roof.
