Zadiyan Kafir Qal'a (BALL-2281)
Kushan, Kushano-Sasanian, Hunnic and early medieval Islamic fortified complex (1600 ha), identified as a military camp. Large square citadel in the middle of an enclosure. Surveyed by Pugachenkova (1973) and Besenval (2013). Vandalized in recent times.
Zadiyan stupa (BALL-1245-1 & 2) ?
Kushan, Hunnic-Turk buddhist ruined large stupa, made of mud bricks. Surveyed by Le Berre (DAFA, 1948).
Pit Qal'a Tepe (BALL-814) (2 km)
Kushan and Kushano-Sasanian rectangular tepe (140 x 80m), surrounded by a ditch, flanked on the east by a second ruin. Surveyed by Le Berre (1948) and Besenval (2013). Interpreted as a western gateway of Zadiyan military complex. Recently vandalized.
