Achaemenid, Graeco-Bactrian and Indo-Greek, Hunnic, Turk and Hindi Shahi, medieval Islamic, Mongol and post-Mongol old city. Uncertain character of the site due to modern overbuilding.

Kabul western and southern old wall (3 km)

Series of stone and mud-brick walls, running along Sher Darwaza and Asma'i ridges. Possible Hunnic origin, rebuilt in Mughal and colonial times. Partially destroyed.
