  Undated ancient fort of Basht, locally named after a former chief of Lur tribe. Discussed in Herzfeld (1907), described as ruined by Stein (1940). Rugged terrain still visible on KH9-Hexagon imagery (1984). Since destroyed by urbanisation.

  Middle Islamic town (at the latest), head of Basht Kūtā district, given by Ibn al-Balkhī (Fārsnāma). Still known by this name. Ancient layout unknown and destroyed. Described in their times by Herzfeld (1907) and Stein (1935).

  Probable archaeological site. Oval mound, clearly visible on Corona (1969) and KH9-Hexagon imagery (1984). Leveled and destroyed by 2011, following the building of the modern road.
