Kampos, Basilica of Agios Stefanos

The complex of  early Christian Basilica of St. Stephen in  Kefalos Isstmus of Kos consists of three buildings connected with each other. The Basilica of Agios Stefanos on the south which mesures 22, 85 X 15, 50 meters. It is the biggest and the oldest part of the comlpex. The church is a three-nave basilica wihth nartex at he entrane and an apse on the East.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         The smaller basilica, 16.90×11.90 m was a chapel of the cemetery.                                                                                                                                                                      In the NE corner corner was a small baptistery.
