Annotations

Tomb 3697 in the etruscan necropolis at Tarquinia was a one chamber tomb with double sloped ceiling. The walls and the ceiling were decorated. Unfortunately the walls are badly damaged.  The detachment of most of the plaster disapeared and only the back wall has visible some  details of a banquet scene and some birds in the pediment. The tomb dates to the  half of the 4th century BC.
