Akhayat is an ancient settlement located 400 m west of the chasm of Asagi Dunya Obruğu. Some buildings are carved into the rock. It was probably a place of worship. One of the lintels bears four Olbic symbols. The chasm and the settlement were related to each other. The site dates to the late Roman-early Byzantine period. There are also some rock tombs and altars south of the chasm.
