''About half an hour south of Bağlıca is a small fort on a hilltop; the ruins are scattered over the summit, one slope being covered by a mass of fallen blocks. On a hill close by are some house ruins and a sarcophagus, and about 500 yards to the east is a group of half a dozen sarcophagi, on one of which appears the name Tyinda.'' (G. E. Bean)1
