Annotations

It is probably the royal cult area of Mithridates, one of the Commagene kings. Two inscriptions were found in two different places in this rock site. One  inscription bears the name Bakhios. Bakhios may be the god Dionysus, as well as the name of a person named Bakhios. In the second inscription is mentioned the name of grandson of Mithridates.
