Aligaso Tepe is located ca 500 m north of Akarcay (Tibil) village. On the southwest slopes of Aligaso Tepe towards the Hedu stream and along the banks of the stream existed a Paleolithic (Lower and MiddlePaleolithic) workshop. H. Taskiran during the project of "The Palaeolithic Survey in the Carchemish Dam Reservoir Region" collected  six bifaces,  two trihedrons (picks),  seven cores and four flakes.
