Tilbes Höyük

Tilbes Höyük was occupied during the Chalcolithic Age The main strata contained a lot of ceramics dated to the time of the so-called Uruk Expansion. It was located 2 km N-E of Keskince (Tilmusa) Village on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River currently flooded by the reservoir waters of the Birecik Dam.
