Flinders Petrie localized the grave of Narmer of the Dynasty I, in the structure B10, in the necropolis Umm el-Qaab near Abydos, which he excavated. Today the structure B10 is considered to be a part of the tomb of Hor-Aha, whereas the burial of the Narmer is suspected in the two chambers B 17/18. The grave consists of two mud brick pi with an area of 10 × 3 m² each.
