‘Molino San Vincenzo’ is the name of an agriculturally used field next to the river Pesa, which is a tirbutary of the river Arno. At this location various ancient strucutres were revealed archaeologically by the University of Vienna, using various invaisve and non-invasive methods. Despite of the poor state of conversation due to intensive agriculture the site can be characterised as medium sized roman rural settlement (villa rustica).1
