Aadloun II, Bezez Cave or Mugharet el Bzaz was first noticed in 1898 by Father Godefroy Zumoffen. Major excavations were undertaken in 1963 by Diane Kirkbride and Dorothy Garrod. Aadloun II yielded the sequence stretching through the Yarbrudian, Levalloiso-Mousterian, Upper Paleolithic and on into the Gigantolithic.
