Collection of ancient art from Prehistory, the ancient Near East, Cyprus, Etruria, Greek ceramics, Greek and Roman sculpture. There's also a collection of Roman Turin. Among the most famous objects are the Artemidorus Papyrus and the Marengo Treasure. The Egyptian collection has been brought to a separate museum at walking distance. The remains of the amphitheater of ancient Turin are next to the museum.
