Zygouries was a Bronze Age settlement dating from approximately 1300 BC to 1320 BC. It was in 1920s excavated by Carl W. Blegen (1887-1971). The site of Zyygouries was occupied during the Early, Middle and Late Helladic Periods as C.W. Blegen`s research reveals.
