Annotations

Ferraea baths in Canusium were built during Antonine dynasty period ie in second half of the second century AD. It was decorated with the white and black tiled floor mosaic with a marine scene. The walls were covered with marble and the environments decorated with columns and marble furnishings. It was supplied with water from  aqueduct founded by Hrodes Atticus (AD 101–177).
