"House of the Amphitheater"  founded by C. Iulius Sucesianus in the second half of the third century AD is a funerary monument, located outside the walls of the Roman Merida. The door is crowned by a lintel with the image of the two rivers emeritenses: Guadiana (Ana) and Albarregas (Arraeca), and the name of the founder of the monument.
