Annotations

Biblical site on the eastern side of the Sea of Galilee. Excavations by M. Kokhavi revealed houses and walls from Israelite period, but the site became a holy Christian site after father B. Pixner identified the place to be the site of the SECOND miracle of the multiplication of the bread and fish.
