Annotation

The site on a triangular plateau called the Patela is identified with ancient Rhizenia/Rhittenia. The few Neolithic finds the are earliest traces of occupation. The main are of the latest Minoan period (LM III). Habitation of the site ended in the mid of the VI century BC.
