Tell Arbid is an archaeological site in North Mesopotamia. It covers remains of an ancient city, which was a prosperous urban centre in the III millennium BC. Inhabited almost continuously through entire Bronze Age and partly in the Iron Age, the site became a part of Mitanni and than the NeoBabylonian Empire. In its final days, ancient Tell Arbid, already a country side, homed also Hellenistic people.
