Timna Valley, Hathor Temple

The small shrine dedicated to Hathor, the Egyptian goddess of mining, was constructed atop the earlier Chalcolithic temple during the reign of Pharaoh Seti I at the end of the XIVth century BC as a shrine for the Egyptian miners¹.
