Annotations

Spring with extensive Roman canalization 6km. east of Baalbek. There are remains of a cult including votive offerings and a gold plaquette of a foot, suggesting healing properties1.  Aliquot groups this together with the Baalbek temples, so calls it Baalbek site G. I have not visited, but no other location visible on Google Earth seems to fit the bill.
