RIB 257 Found on South Common Lincoln in 1909. Translation: Gaius Valerius son of Gauis, of the Maecian voting tribe,soldier of the Ninth Legion, standard bearer of the century of Hospes, aged 35, of 14 years service, left instructions in his will for this to be set up. Here he lies. Lincoln City and County Museum, now the Collection.

Tombstone for Claudia Crysis RIB 263 Tombstone found in 1830 on the wall of the Lower Colonia on the premises of Alderman Colton at either 16 or 18 Lindum Road. Once at Canwick Hall, then the Lincoln City and County Museum, now the Collection.
