These temporary camps overlap to a great extent and there is a different numbering sequence between Canmore and Roman Britain. The Roman Britain sequence is adopted here.
Camp 1. Temporary Camp. 450 x 400+ ft (137 x 122+ m) It is thought that this camp was established while the main fort, Alavna Veniconvm was being rebuilt.
