Soli (Greek: Σόλοι, Soloi) was an ancient city and port in Cilicia. Originally Soloi was a colony of Rhodes, founded ca 700 BC. City was destroyed in the Ist century BC, and rebuilt by Pompey the Great and was given the new name Pompeiopolis.
