During the excavations human traces dating back to 10 thousand BC were found. During the excavations 500 pieces of colored glass, drills, chisels, and drilling tools made of stone and bone were found. The large amount of colored glass beads suggests that this place was used as a workshop during the Bronze Age. The cave was used as a place for sacrifices and temples during the Roman period. Two stone terraces (votive areas), pot fragments, 50 terracotta human figures, and plenty of coins are evidence that it was intensively used during the Roman period.
