Rod to haul ships from the Corinthian Gulf to the Saronic Gulf

The Diolkos (Δίολκος) was a paved track build by the tyrant Periander  (r. 627–585 BC) in order to moved the ships and transport goods overland across the Isthmus of Corinth between two portrs of Corinyhos: Lechaion and Kechries.
