Annotations

The Treasure of Zarzów - three tombs called Princely from the turn of the 3rd/4th century AD, found in 1886 and 1887 in Zakrzów, later a part of Wrocław. The equipment of the graves was in the  Muzeum Starożytności Śląskich -Museum of Silesian Antiquities, and later in the Museum of Artistic Crafts in Wrocław. Both the originals and their replicas were exhibited at numerous exhibitions in various cities in Germany. A significant part of the Zarzów treasure was lost during the war. The part of the collection that survived is in the Archaeological Museum in Wrocław and in the National Museum in Warsaw.
