  1. Kadikalesi Anaia Ancient City in Kusadasi settlement has been occupied many times by different populations since Bronze Age. The relations between Hittite Kingdom and Mycenaean region seems to be prooved by the Mycenaean figurine discovered at the site1.

Prof. Dr. Zeynep Mercangöz from Ege University is carrying out scientific excavations in Kadıkalesi since 2001 .
