The Kuşkayası Road Monument  located by the Roman road built by Gaius Julius Aquila, the governor of Bithynia and Pontus, in honor of the Roman Emperor Claudius (41-54) by the Roman road.  Kuşkayası Road Monument consisted of a human figure and a Roman eagle carved into the rocks.
