Thuria, of which place, Pausanias' tells us, that it was -  William Martin Leake, Travels in the Morea: with a map and plans, 1830, p. 360 nn. Thuria was a city in Messenia, placedon the Stenykleros plain, west of the range of Taygetos Mountain, between the rivers: Aris and Nedon.
