The royal tombs of the Northwest of the city contains four pit-graves of the late archaic period, three cist-graves dating from the 5th and 4th centuries, he “Tomb of Eurydice”, which probably belongs to the mother of Philip II dated to c. 340 BC, two Macedonian tombs :double-chambered “Romaios Tomb”, and an Ionic, temple-shaped structure, dated to the beginning of the 3rd century.
