The temple of "Lady of the Town," the antelope goddess Satet on Elephantine Island. The earliest sanctuary was built ca 3200 BC and was a mudbrick building between three tall granite boulders. The most imposing temple was built by Queen Hatshepsut ( r. 1473-1458) and and Tuthmose III (r. 1479–1425 BC).
