Annotations

Dar Qita was founded in the Ist century AD. It flourished during Byzantine Empire. In the fifth century three basilicas were built: St. Peter and Paul in 414 AD, St Sergios in  537AD, Holy Trinity in  567 AD. Dar Qita was a regional economic center based on the production of wine and oliveoil.
