The privet baths east of the odeum according to the inscription belonged to Varius erected by the famous sophist of Ephesus origins - Flavius Damianus. The construction dates to the second century A.D and the mosaics in the corridor dates to the fifth century. It consits of the three sections, frigidarium (cold water), tepidarium (warm water) and caldarium (hot water).
