Saint Mema Church in Ehden  the oldest Maronite church in Lebanon built in 749 CE on the remains of a pagan temple. There are some ancient inscription writings in Greek and Syriac.

Mar Mema (260-275) is the patron of shepherds and nurses; he was executed at Caesarea Cappadocia, at the age of 15 during the persecution of the Roman Emperor Aurelian. Inside on the walls
