The Sphinx Dream Stela is a stele Egyptian Pharaoh Thutmose IV (1401 – 1391 BC or 1397 – 1388 BC) of the XVIII Dynasty which recorded " how the prince Tuthmosis was out hunting in the desert when he fell askthe shadow of the Sphinx. Re-Harakhte, the sun god embodied Sphinx, appeared to him in a dream and promised that if the engulfing the great limestone body was cleared away, the prince *become king.1" This stele erected at the beginning of his rule proves the divine right of his pharaohship.
