Anmerkungen

In Hissaria wurde fünf Römische nekropolen gefunden. Grabmal III ist aus der zweiten Hälfte des IV. Jahrhundert.

In Hisarya were found five Roman burial sites. This Late Roman family tomb - the largest one was built in the second half of the IVth century in the neighbourhood of Diocletianopolis. Entrance to the grave was made of the massive stone blocks. The chamber consists of a rectangular vaulted room with two burial beds. The walls of the chamber and of the corridor were covered with paintings of floral and geometrical motifs. The floor of the chamber is covered iwith a mosaic.
