A rural settlement that dates back to Hellenistic era and constructed as a garrison and reinforced with a plygonal wall. Dwelling had been added around and on the other side of the valley in later times. It is on the ancient road that goes from Elaiussa Sebaste to Kabacam, later to Catioren and Emirzeli settlements.
