Annotations

There are ruins of a castle on top of the acropol hill The wall construction is a polygonal type of construction so that it may date back to Hellenistic period. The selection of the site as an acropol hill also supports it. There are rock-carved graves in the valleys around the acropol. There are some column ruins in the plain on the northwest side of the castle. There are about 25 house ruins dates back to Roman time and 10 sarcophagus. There are relifs of grape and cross on the sarcophagis. It seems that the site was also inhabited in the early Byzantine time.
