It is thought to be a settlement that is related to the ancient port today. There are ruins of a big mansion, a giant, today still intact cistern, a bath, olive oil and wine press, a chapel and several other houses around. The size of the cistern is enormous and is 33x20x15 meters. It is connected to Roman waterway coming from Lamos River. There is a blasted inscription on the door lentil of the bath phrasing name "Ilios". The same name appears in the inscription on the second aqueduct of the waterway. It is thought that Ilios was one of the rivals of Byzantine emperor Zeno. The ruins date back to 5th and 6th century.
