Proto-historical (Assecanian), Hellenistic, Maurya, Indo-Greek and Indo-Parthian, Kushan and Sassanian townsite. Identified as ancient town of Ora by Stein and Tucci. Excavated bu IsMEO. Mostly covered by urbanisation.

Udegram - Raja Ghira fort (1 km)

Kushan, Sassanian and medieval (Hindu Shahi and Ghaznavid) fortress on a rocky high spur, connected to an ample walled perimeter. Probable seat of the principal local authority. Exacvated by IsMEO (1956).
