Annotations

The ancient Roman chariot-racing stadium at Kibyra was erected at the end of the second century.  The dedicatory inscription on the upper part of the western building that continues along the portico gives the name of the donators: Flavius Capiton and his cousin Titus Flavius Ovidianus.
